Anna Betancourt

Anna Betancourt was named Director of the Spanish Choir in June 2011. A graduate of Loyola Marymount University, she comes to the Cathedral with over 25 years of experience directing various choirs ranging from Spanish and Traditional choirs to Handbell, Children's and Contemporary Ensembles.

At the Archdiocesan level, Anna serves as a Music Committee Member and has served as a member of the Religious Education Congress Liturgy Committee. She is also is a speaker and presenter at various conferences and workshops on Music and Liturgy. Her voice can be heard on more than 30 recordings with various Catholic artists and composers including Bob Hurd, Jaime Cortez, Peter Kolar and John Angotti. Currently, Anna serves as Director of Pastoral Services and Liturgy at St. Linus Catholic Church.
