The 38th running of the Los Angeles Marathon takes place on Sunday, March 19, 2023. The Cathedral is the sixth landmark on a course starting from Dodger Stadium and finishing on the Avenue of the Stars.
Access to the Cathedral will be limited due to street closures that morning. For access on race day, please use the 101 freeway and allow for ample time.
Access Pass to the Cathedral:
If you encounter race official or traffic officers, please inform them you need access to the Cathedral for Sunday Services. Access passes will be distributed on the Sunday prior for displaying on the windshield and are also available for downloading and printing below.

From Northbound 101 Take Alameda St/ Union Station exit. Turn Right on to Alameda Street to College St. Turn Left on to College St. Continue on College St and turn Left on Hill St. Continue to parking garage.
From Southbound 101 Take Alameda St./Union Station exit. Turn right on Commercial St. Turn Right on Alameda St. Continue on Alameda St. to College St. Continue on College St and turn Left on Hill St. Continue to parking garage.
