Downtown LA Traffic Advisory (Saturday & Sunday: Feb. 24 & 25)

Please be advised that street-closures and higher than usual traffic are expected in Downtown L.A. this weekend, Saturday, Feb. 24 through Sunday, Feb. 25 for two two-day concurrent events: The Skyline Festival and the LA Chinatown Firecracker Festival.

The Skyline Festival is a two-day festival dedicated to underground dance music, street & digital art hosted at Gloria Molina Grand Park. The LA Firecracker Festival is taking place in the historic Los Angeles Chinatown Plaza, celebrating the Lunar New Year and the Year of the Dragon.  Participants can choose between the 5k run/walk, 10k run, kiddie run, Paw’r Dog Walk or the 19/50 mile bike ride over the weekend long event.

Although no street closures are expected near the Cathedral, do expect some added traffic as a result of street in the surrounding areas. Please plan accordingly.

Saturday: $20 flat-rate starting at 2pm. Sunday: $20 flat rate starting at 6:30pm.

Broadway: From College St. to Bernard St. will be closed from 5:00 AM to 10:00 AM.

Broadway: From College St. to Pasadena Ave. one Southbound lane will be closed to traffic from 5:00 AM to 2:00 PM.

Hill ST: Parking lane restriction from Saturday, February 24, 2024 4:00 AM to Sunday, February 25, 2025 4:00 PM.

Broadway: From College St. to Pasadena Ave. will be closed from 4:00 AM to 1:00 PM.

Broadway: From Alpine St. to College St. will be closed from 4:00 AM to 11:00 AM.

College St: From Alameda St. to Hill St. will be closed from 6:00 AM to 11:00 AM.

Hill St: From College St. to Bernard St. parking lane restriction from Saturday, February 24, 2024 4:00 AM to Sunday, February 25, 2024 4:00 PM.

Stadium Way: From Bishop Road to Academy Road. Academy Road to the Stadium Way off ramp of the southbound Interstate 5 will be closed from 6:00 AM to 11:00 AM.

This closure affects, Lookout Dr, Bernard St., Coronel St., Chavez Ravine Pl., Lilac Terrace, Vin Scully Way, N. Boylston St., Scott Rd., and Academy Rd.

110 Arroyo Parkway: Southbound off ramp Closed at Stadium Way. Sunday, February 25, 2024, 6:00 AM to 12:00 PM. Academy Road off ramp remains open.

110 Arroyo Parkway: Northbound off ramp at Stadium Way and the off ramp at Solano Ave. Sunday, February 25, 2024, 6:00 AM to 12:00 PM.

Interstate 5: Southbound off ramp at Stadium Way Sunday, February 25, 2024, 6:00 AM to 12:00 PM. Off ramp is closed to left turns onto Stadium Way.
