Thanksgiving Day Mass

Thanksgiving Day falls on Thursday, November 25, 2021. On this day, we celebrate God's grace-filled presence in this Year of Faith. Give thanks this special day by joining us for Thanksgiving Day Mass at 9:00am. Regular Daily Masses resume on Friday.  Parking validations will be provided to all Mass attendees.  All others pay holiday flat rate.

Food Drive

Every Thanksgiving at the Cathedral, we express our gratitude for the many blessings in our lives through our participation in the annual Outreach Food Drive. This year we will be assisting the Sisters Poor of Jesus Christ and the Friars Poor of Jesus Christ with their Downtown Skid Row Street Ministry.  |  Read More

Holiday Closures

The Parish Office, Cathedral Gift Shop and Galero Grill will be closed on Thanksgiving Day.

Traffic Advisory

Street closures adjacent to the Cathedral are expected from 8:00 am – 11am on Thursday for the annual Turkey Trot Los Angeles Thanksgiving Day Race Event.  The 5k/10k race starts and finishes in front of City Hall at 200 N. Spring Street.  The Hill and Temple Street parking entrances will remain open. 

Thanksgiving Day Mass attendees are advised to approach from the 101 freeway to avoid traffic.
