Mass for Healthcare Professionals

In recognition of the dedicated work of Catholic Health Care Professionals, the Archdiocese of Los Angeles and Mission Doctors Association invites all Catholic physicians and medical personnel to the celebration of the Mass for Healthcare Professionals at the Cathedral on Sunday, October 23, 2022 at 3:30 PM. 

The Mass for Healthcare Professionals, formerly known as the 'White Mass' is a special celebration to acknowledge the unique contributions made by all Catholic Health Care Professionals, and takes its name from the white coat most commonly worn by those in the medical field.

This year, the Archdiocese will acknowledge the work of Sr. Angela Hallahan, C.H.F. and Elise Frederick for their work in bringing the Mass back to the Archdiocese more than a decade ago. Mission Doctors Association will present the Catholic Doctor of the Year Award to Dr. David Gaus of Andean Health.
